Examinations
We feel regular examinations are very important for early detection of medical problems and can be wonderfully assuring if no problems exist.  The care should start as early as puppy or kitten stage and continue on till their geriatric years.

Vaccinations
We are a small animal hospital and believe the most effective way of protecting your dog or cat is to provide well-tested combinations of vaccines to help prevent various common and sometimes deadly diseases.

Dental care
Increasingly, clients are becoming more aware of the importance of having their pets teeth examined and cleaned on a regular basis just as it is important for their own teeth and gums.  Our services include cleaning, scaling, polishing, tooth extraction and also providing a prescription diet food made by science diet called T/D, that provides protection against tartar, plaque build up and stains.

Surgery
We provide a full minor and main surgery room for our patients when a surgery is needed.  Our patients are closely monitored before, during and after surgery.  Our surgeries include the most basic to some extremes.  We also have specialist and board certified doctors on call for specific treatments, and laser surgery which provides the benefits of less pain, less bleeding, less chance of infection, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery.

Laboratory
Our facility is equipped with an in-house laboratory including, parasite testing, hematology and serology.  We also use an independent veterinary laboratory for specialized diagnostics.

Radiology
We have one of the latest X-ray machines and can provide routine diagnostic radiographs in minutes.

Grooming
We provide grooming and bathing Services. Our groomers are available by appointment Mon-Fri. We do require that pets be current on vaccinations. Our groomers open at 8am and accept afternoon appointments if pre-arranged.

Boarding
We provide a comfortable boarding facility for dogs and cats of our clients.  Pets must be current on all required vaccinations for boarding.  Prior reservations must be made.  Our kennels are indoors for both cats and dogs, although we do leash walk dogs 2-3 times daily in our large backyard. We provide Hill's Science Diet food for all animals while boarding.  We do provide other services, such as grooming, doctor exams, dental care, laboratory work etc. while pets are boarding with us.

New clients must provide proper paperwork from their veterinarian showing Rabies, DHPP, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella vaccines being current for dogs and FVRCCP, Leukemia, and Rabies vaccines being current for cats. If vaccines are not current we would be happy to update them during their stay with us.

Dietary Planning
We carry a wide range of prescription diets made by Hill's Science Diet.  These diets will benefit your pet in many ways whether it may be weight loss, kidney problems, diabetes, skin allergies, and many more.

Fees
We try to stay competitive with our costs and strive to give you the best.  Payments are due at the time services are rendered.  We do accept ATM, Visa, MC, Discover, American Express, Cash, Checks (with valid ID), and also have a great financing plan available through Care Credit (on approved credit).

Emergency After Hours

When an emergency arises during after hours, you can call our regular office number and leave a message for the doctor.  A technician will return your call as soon as possible.  If your situations needs emergency assistance, there is a 24 hour emergency clinic available. Associated Veterinary Emergency Services is located at 3008 East Hammer Lane, Suite 115 in Stockton, CA 95212.  Their number is 209-952-8387(VETS). The doctor and staff are in the premises weekdays 6pm-8am, Sat 12noon through Mon 8am. Holidays 24 hours.
