Meet Our Team |
Dr.
Gurpreet Singh - Hi, my name is Dr. Gurpreet Singh.
I am the practicing Veterinarian here at Bear Creek Veterinary
Hospital. I was introduced to the Bear Creek team in 2002. Born
and raised in Punjab, India, I graduated in 1994 with my BVSc
and AH from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in India.
Once graduated, I entered into the ECFVG program at Tuskegee
University, Alabama completing in 1997. I have been practicing
in Stockton since 1999 and am a member of the CVMA, AVMA, and
NSJVMA. I have special interests in small animal soft tissue
surgery and internal medicine. I have been married to my beautiful
wife for 15 years and have 3 great children, two daughters and
one son ages 6 to 12 years. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors,
being a dad with my children, running and gardening. I take
great pride in what I do and look forward to meeting and taking
care of you and your family. |

Kamaljit Brar Singh - Hello, my name is Dr. Kamaljit
Brar Singh. I am the administrator at Bear Creek Veterinary
Hospital. Born and raised in Punjab, India. I graduated in 1994
with my BVSc and AH from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana
in India. After graduating, I entered into the ECFVG Program
at Mississippi State University. Shortly after completing in
2000, I came to Stockton to work along side with Dr. Gurpreet
Singh. I am a member of the CVMA and AVMA. I married my wife,
Sukh, in 1998 and have two children, a daughter and a son, ages
4 to 6. In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing tennis
and basketball. Helping pets is my compassion and I look forward
to helping you. |
Mandeep Gurm - Hello, my name is Mandeep Gurm, but you can call me Mike. I am the Office manager at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital. I graduated from MJC with an Associated Science Degree and have a background in Pharmacy Technology. I have the pleasure to work alongside with both Dr. Kamajit Brar and with Dr. Gurpreet Singh since 1999. I am married to my beautiful wife ,Rupi, for 8 years and have three daughters, with a full house of all girls I might add; my hunny-do list gets longer and longer. So keeping busy around the house is what I do on my free time. If I get lucky and finish my list I really enjoy cooking, what a great way to end the day, with food! I love what I do and look forward to meeting you with your beloved companions. |
Kristen
Vanderpol - Hello, I'm Kristen Vanderpol. I am an RVT here
at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital, RVT Stands for Registered
Veterinary Technician. I went to school and took a State Board
exam to acquire this license. I have been a part of the Bear
Creek team since 2002. At home I have a 5 year old cat named
"Farel" so I understand how important it is to receive
the best possible care for your loved ones. That is why I am
eager and willing to do the best I can. I look forward to hearing
from you. |
Veronica Cabreles - Hi, my name is Veronica Cabrales I am a Veterinary Technician here at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital. I attended and graduated from Western Career College in 2010. I am studying to take my state board exam, to become an RVT. I am originally from San Francisco and moved to Stockton in 2004. I am a mother to 2 great boys Elijah and Ezekiel, and have a husband named Emmanuel. I have 3 dogs Smoke, Cocoa and Little guy. With a full house I stay busy, enjoying every minute of it all. I am excited to be a part of the Bear Creek team and look forward to meeting you and your extended family. |
Samantha
Haskell - My name is Samantha Haskell, but you can call
me Sam. I have worked here at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital
since 2002. I graduated from Sierra College in Rocklin in 2000
with an AS Degree in Chemistry and Biology. I then graduated
from UC Davis in 2002 with a BS degree in Animal Science. I
currently work part-time; my full time job is taking care of
my kids. Since 2004 I've been fostering children from San Joaquin
County, caring for 2 infants at a time. I recently finalized
the adoption of our little girl Angelina in 2006. My other family
members include my partner Wendy, Baby Diva (Pitbull), Maimay
(Pug), JoJo (Pug), Willow (DSH), William (DMH), Sam's Son (DSH),
E.T, (Orange Winged Amazon), and lastly Theodore (African Grey).
I always tell everyone that I could not work for anyone else
other than Dr. Singh. Here at Bear Creek we truly have your
pet's best interest at heart. I hope all our clients feel our
sense of compassion and care. |
Marla
Soun - Hello, my name is Marla Soun I am a Vet Tech here at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital. I started volunteering at Bear Creek Vet when I was going to school at Western Career College and like it so much I wanted to stay. I graduated from Western Career College Veterinary Technician program and am currently studying to take my RVT state board exam. I am honored to be a part of the Bear Creek Team and look forward to helping you. |
Thalia
Braxton - Hello I am Thalia Braxton. I have worked here at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital since 2010. I am pretty busy around here working as the main groomer. I’ve been grooming since 2000. At home I take care of my son Jalen, my daughter Janica and my two Chihuahuas Luke and Gizmo. So I know how it is to run a full house. I look forward to pampering your pets that are grooming with us, or may need a caring technicians hand. |
Cuddles
- Hello my name is Cuddles I am the house cat here at Bear Creek
Veterinary Hospital. I came to live with my family at Bear Creek
in 2003. I love living here and helping out when I can, like
donating my blood to any of my feline friends that are in need.
I look forward to seeing you and comforting my friends. |
